Trinity Church Wall Street is delighted to announce the appointment of Janet Yieh as Associate Organist, marking the first time that two musicians will have served concurrently in this position. Named one of “20 under 30” to watch by The Diapason magazine, Yieh is a former Assistant Organist at Trinity. Now, working in tandem with existing Associate Organist Avi Stein, she will be responsible for planning and performing in its celebrated “Pipes at One” series, collaborating on programming with Director of Music Julian Wachner, creating and leading new choral ensembles for liturgical events, and assisting with music education and outreach initiatives. She inaugurates her new position with a free “Pipes at One” recital on Friday, June 15, when she will perform on the newly restored and relocated Noack three-manual pipe organ in St. Paul’s Chapel.

Says Janet: “I am excited to be joining the Music team at Trinity Wall Street once again. It’s an honor to serve this diverse parish, work with our brilliant choirs and celebrate the installation of the new organs.”
