THE PHILADELPHIA ORCHESTRA

Concert Details:  Carnegie Hall welcomes the critically acclaimed Philadelphia Orchestra to its hallowed halls on Tuesday, Oct. 15. With nearly 130 instruments on stage, you’ll take a musical journey through the Alps, experience a majestic sunrise, a violent storm, and awe-inspiring views from the peaks—and more!

THURSDAY, OCTOBER 17, 2019 

ORCHESTRA OF ST. LUKE’S

Concert Details:  Bach, Mendelssohn, and more! Join the Orchestra of St. Luke’s as they reflect on the moods of Scottish landscape, recreate glorious themes and visions, and captivate you with grounding melodies and technically dazzling solos.

ENSEMBLE CONNECT

Concert Details:  Enjoy a program led by Ensemble Connect featuring popular works such as Brahms’ Piano Quartet No. 2 in A Major, Op. 26, Jennifer Higdon’s Zaka, and Tania Leon’s De Memorias.

BACK TO THE FUTURE: CONCERT SERIES BY FOUNDATION FOR THE REVIVAL OF CLASSICAL CULTURE

Concert Details:  This week’s performance in the cleverly named Back to the Future concert series will feature Baritone Frank Mathis and pianist Jonathan DePeri performing Schubert’s Schwanengesang.

AN EVENING WITH THE MELBOURNE SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA

Concert Details:  Returning after a 50-year hiatus, the MSO will perform a stunning collection of Australian music and orchestral classics, featuring works by Ian Grandage and Carl Vine. Concertmaster Dale Barltrop will lead the orchestra.

MAX RICHTER: THE BLUE NOTEBOOKS & FROM SLEEP
