TUESDAY, OCTOBER 15, 2019 

FALL FOR CHAMBER MUSIC

Concert Details:  The Dolce Suono Ensemble returns with a Fall for Chamber Music performance—a new, 3-year project that’s supported by the William Penn Foundation created to engage new audiences in chamber music. They will perform a free concert featuring works from Bach, Schubert, Brahms, and more! 

When: Tuesday, October 15, 2019. 6 PM, EDT.

THURSDAY, OCTOBER 17, 2019 

YANNICK AND MAHLER

Concert Details:  The Philadelphia Orchestra and acclaimed conductor Yannick Nézet-Séguin take on Wanderer Fantasy and Symphony no. 5 in C sharp minor. Join Yannick as he embarks on a magically technical attempt to build intensity until the mesmerizing finale in a masterpiece that’s stunned the ages. Can’t catch the Thursday performance? There are additional performances on Friday, Oct. 18 or Saturday, Oct. 19.

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 18, 2019 

ORCHESTRAL GARDENERS

Concert Details:  Tempesta di Mare performs music written by Telemann and Handel who exchanged letters, music, and plants for their gardens while creating some of the most celebrated and cherished works of the baroque orchestral repertoire.

ORCHESTRAL CONCORDIA FREE COMMUNITY CONCERT

Concert Details:  The Orchestra Concordia will present its first concert of its 2019-2020 season under the direction of conductor Gary White. The impressive program will feature Philadelphia Orchestra oboe soloist Jonathan Blumenfeld in Concerto for Oboe and Orchestra in C Major by Mozart as well as other unique and magical pieces.

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 19, 2019 

EURASIAN SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA: THE SPIRIT OF THE GREAT STEPPE

Concert Details:  Join the Eurasian Symphony Orchestra and Violinists’ ensemble Capricci in the classical music concert The Spirit of the Great Steppe. The program, conducted by Eduardo Schmieder, will feature Shlomo Mintz, Aidar Torybaev, Samuel Bebyu, and more.
