THURSDAY, DECEMBER 5, 2019 

BACH’S MASS IN B MINOR

Concert Details:  Enjoy a work of towering musicality and deep spirituality from J.S. Bach as conducted by Yannick Nézet-Séguin. The program will feature Carolyn Sampson, soprano; Karen Cargill, mezzo-soprano; Jonas Hacker, tenor; Benjamin Appl, baritone; Westminster Symphonic Choir; and Joe Miller, director.

THE TALLIS SCHOLARS 

Concert Details:  Join the Tallis Scholars in their debut performance with The Society with a new program entitled Reflection. This program features work from Byrd, Allegri, Tallis, Poulenc, and more, and shines a light on how important and durable plainchant was from the renaissance period to 20th century Paris.

Concert Details:  The Society presents three celebrated musicians in their inaugural season as a trio—David Shifrin, clarinet; Peter Wiley, cello; and Anna Polonsky, piano. Join the trio in a program featuring works from Beethoven, Rota, Poulenc, and Brahms.
