Classical Post Awards Canadian Brass

Well-known around the world for being one of the most popular brass ensembles in our modern era, Canadian Brass has certainly earned its distinction. First forming as a brass quintet, Canadian Brass has developed an engaging stage presence that’s entirely unique, showcasing their full range of talents in their trademark Baroque and Dixieland tunes, and even going so far as to compose their own music and playing arrangements made specifically for them.

With an expansive discography—over 130 albums with 2.2 million albums sold worldwide—as well as an in-demand tour schedule, Canadian Brass has not only traveled the globe to bring their wildly unique talent to the world, but also has become an important figurehead in the brass ensemble realm, acting as a pioneer for the art by bringing brass music to mass audiences everywhere.
