Stjepan Hauser Makes Solo Debut as HAUSER with Release of His Interpretation of Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake
Hauser is World-Renowned For Being One Half of the Acclaimed Duo 2CELLOS
Stjepan Hauser took a step out of the duo realm of his 2CELLO fame and into solo stardom with a recently released recording of his own interpretation of Tchaikovsky’s masterpiece Swan Lake.
The lush, new arrangement—released under his solo name HAUSER— is available now via Sony Classical. It was produced by Nick Patrick and features HAUSER accompanied by the London Symphony Orchestra.
The release was further complemented by a new video showcasing his performance style alongside a group of exceptionally talented and enchanting ballerinas from Sanremo, Italy.
Throughout my life and career certain compositions have remained dear to my heart. Compositions that have a special drama, a moving melody, a deep romanticism,” said Hauser of his new track.
“Swan Lake’ is one such piece of music. To be able to record it with the London Symphony Orchestra allows me finally to share my passion for this music the way I always imagined it.”
Hauser began playing the cello when he was 8 years old—that early passion led to his study at Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester, UK. Following his graduation, Hauser joined fellow cellist Luka Šulić to become 2CELLOS, a duo that would catapult to global success creating viral cello version of popular music.
Hauser announced early 2020 concert dates in Europe in early October in places like London, Berlin, Amsterdam, Milan, Brussels, and more. For more details about the location, times, and ticket prices, follow HAUSER on Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
