Tune in as violinist Shannon Reilly, guitarist Tom Torrisi, and cellist Katie Weissman present a refreshing and eclectic program of solos, duos, and trios, interspersing exciting modern compositions with the works of Vivaldi and Haydn. S.E.M. Ensemble

S.E.M. Ensemble was founded in 1970 when Petr Kotik organized a group of musicians of the fellows at the Center of the Creative and Performing Arts, SUNY/Buffalo. Their 50th Anniversary Concert has been postponed. To make up for this postponement, they will be uploading a video to their homepage on April 1st at 1pm EST that will approximate the program that they intended to perform. It will include recent recordings of works by Christian Wolff, Robert Ashley, Miya Masaoka, Julius Eastman, and Petr Kotik. These recordings will be accompanied by photos from their archive, as well as by commentary by the composers.
