Carnegie Hall launches its new online series Live with Carnegie Hall on Tuesday April 14. The series will consist of original programming curated by Emanuel Ax, Joshua Bell, Michael Feinstein, Renée Fleming, Angélique Kidjo, Ute Lemper, and Yannick Nézet-Séguin.

Richmond Symphony names Valentina Peleggi as new Music Director
On April 7, the Richmond Symphony announced the appointment of award-winning Italian conductor Valentina Peleggi as their next Music Director. Peleggi will begin her role on July 1, 2020, for an initial four-year period conducting at least ten weeks a season.

Musical Fund Society’s Bicentennial Celebration at Kimmel Center Will Feature Commissions From Four Legendary Composers
As you might already know, the Musical Fund Society announced its 200th anniversary celebration in collaboration with four spectacular American composers this April 26th. Previously being held at the Settlement Music School in Philadelphia, the celebration will now take place at the Kimmel Center, also in Philadelphia. The Society is celebrating 200 years the best way they know how - with the creation of music!
