Metropolitan Opera: At-Home Gala, Week-Six of their Streaming Schedule, and Playlist

Metropolitan Opera

The Met announces plans to livestream an At-Home Gala on April 25 at 1pm EDT, which will be streamed from the Met’s website. General Manager Peter Gelb will be hosting and producing the event from his apartment on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, Yannick Nézet-Séguin will be co-hosting from his apartment in Montreal. Nézet-Séguin will also be participating in the gala as a pianist.

The program will be available on demand on the Met website after the live showing until 6:30pm EDT the following day.

📣 Free Masterclass for Artists

If you’ve enjoyed this conversation, I’d love to share something I created that expands on many of the ideas we explore here on Classical Post.

I recorded a free Masterclass designed specifically for classical musicians who want to:

✅ Book more concerts

✅ Increase their performance fees

✅ Build visibility with presenters, agents, and collaborators

This is the same visibility strategy I’ve used in my work with artists at Gold Sound Media—approaches that have helped them land major engagements and grow their careers in meaningful, measurable ways.

📩 Enter your email below and I’ll send you the link to watch the Masterclass on YouTube.

It’s practical, actionable, and designed for artists who are ready to stop waiting and start being seen.
